“The amount of IT-OT integration that is happening in the manufacturing space rings a big alarm bell of what kind of visibility an IoT device needs to give back to integrated view,” Raman says.

In a video interview at Information Security Media Group's recent Fraud and Breach Summit in Bengaluru, Raman also discusses:

  • The complexity of IoT devices;
  • How IoT security is different from IT security;
  • The movement toward standardization of IoT devices.

Raman is director, security business, India and SAARC at Cisco. He has more than 20 years of experience in information security services. Prior to joining Cisco, he was the senior regional director for India and SAARC at FireEye. Raman also was formerly the global head of the content delivery network and managed security services business at Tata Communications.
