"Practitioners in Asia are almost operating in silos because there is a bit of hesitancy in looking outside for help," Bugal said. "But we are slowly seeing the adoption. The benefits that have been realized in organizations within Asia that have adopted these services, they are using it as a use case to take to industry bodies."

In this video interview with Information Security Media Group, Bugal discusses:

  • The MDR market in Asia;
  • How the MDR market has evolved;
  • The road ahead for Sophos.

Bugal, who joined Sophos more than 12 years ago, started out as a senior sales engineer and moved to his current position as global solutions engineer in October 2017. Based in Melbourne, he spends the majority of his time helping organizations throughout the Asia-Pacific region and Japan effectively deploy and use Sophos’ gateway, endpoint, network and encryption systems.
